Details: The K2 244 is a ski that's dedicated to performance in the moguls. Whether you're a weekend warrior who just loves to smash bumps to a full on World Cup professional, the 244 loves to ski zipper bump lines and will maximize your ability and performance when you drop into a bumped up trail or purpose built mogul course. True mogul skis are getting harder and harder to find, partly because they have such dedicated performance characteristics. The 244 uses a 66 mm waist width, which is exceptionally narrow by today's standards, but narrower skis are much quicker edge to edge and therefor perform better as dedicated mogul skis. It's not the type of ski you want to go powder skiing on and it's not really designed for carving groomers, but boy does it rip in the moguls. You should be of a relatively high ability level to make the most of this ski. Skiers who aren't comfortable skiing with a direct, down-the-fall-line, high speed approach in the moguls will likely be better off with a wide ski with plenty of tip and tail rocker. The 244 and its narrow design likes to ski fast, quick lines through the moguls and is perfectly balanced for airs and tricks for those of you that are competing and will help you take your airs to the next level.
