The Nikon 8381 Laser Forestry Pro Rangefinder is a powerful surveying tool that measures existing actual distance, horizontal distance, height, angle, and vertical separation. Amongst this multi-dimensional device's many features are two LCD displays: an internal in-scope LCD display that allows you to keep an eye on your target during the measurements and an external LCD panel that displays all the calculations simultaneously for more information. The rangefinder's multi-coated high-quality 6X magnification optics display bright and clear images and its design allows you to use your eyeglasses while taking your measurements.
Various Measuring Modes
This rangefinder measures up to 999 feet with an accuracy of 1 foot and allows the user to choose between 2 measuring modes. Its First Target priority mode displays the distance to the closest target and is used when we have overlapping background situations. The Distant Target priority measures farthest targets and is used in wooded areas where brush and foliage is abundant.
Beyond Simple Calculations
In addition to measuring distances, inclinations and heights, this rangefinder can calculate height difference between two targets and features 3-point measurement which provides the height between any two given points. The Nikon Forestry Pro Laser Range Finder is equipped with a 20-second continuous measuring function, which allows you to measure 20 seconds of different distances in succession while the button is pressed down. This rangefinder displays all the measurements in feet, meters and yards.
