The Venom Paddle sleekly combines functionality and style. The core, PFG2 Core, is made from a unique core technology made specifically for pickleball by Pickleball Inc. Pickleball Inc has been making paddles for over 50 years and they do a phenomenal job at that. This core is similar in composition to a polymer, or plastic blend, core. This core technology was designed to generate power, increase control, and decrease the amount of noise heard during impact. Inspired by the design of popular wood paddles, the paddle has a traditional tennis-like “heavy head” and long handle which increases the amount of control players have making it a fantastic paddle choice. So if you like tennis you will like the feel of this paddle and how it performs on the courts.
You will notice the slender handle on the Venom Paddle is 5” long and has a 4-1/2” circumference measurement. The widest point of this paddle is at the top of the paddle’s head and is 8” from one side to the other. From there, the paddle face very gradually tapers inward, putting more of the weight in the head of the paddle. You will notice that while not all of the paddle’s weight, ranging from 7.8 to 8.0 ounces, is in the head, the amount of weight in the head increases the power behind each hit. The 15-3/4” long paddle has a graphic of an partly-camouflaged scorpion hiding in the dark color of the paddle until ready to strike on the courts. Seriously though, this is a great paddle choice.
