The Phantom Composite Widebody Pickleball Paddle is the ultimate blend of finesse, power, and control. Onix Sports took note of winning features on other paddles and combined them in this paddle, aiming to create the perfect paddle. The material used in this paddle was inspired by an Air Force veteran who was a friend of Steve Wong, a multi-time National Champion. The aluminum core provides lots of the much-loved “pickleball pop”, while the fiberglass face gives players incredibly fast return speed. The lightly-textured face gives players the ability to add spin when desired.
The 8” wide face on the Composite Phantom Widebody (Aluminium) paddle helps reduce the chance of players missing the ball while swinging, thanks to the oversized body. A shorter handle length of 4-1/2” allows for greater torque in the wrist, as well as giving greater allotment of the total 15-1/2” paddle length to the face. This paddle has a huge hitting surface, which many players adore. The grip size on the paddle is 4-1/4”, but due to the fact that each handle is handmade, it can reach a circumference of 4-1/2”.
